CFC Contributes to the 2023 SARSEF Annual Fair’s Resounding Success!

CFC Contributes to El Grupo’s Manzo Elementary Bike Club for Three Years Running
El Grupo’s MANZO Bike Club provides the equipment and teaches the necessary skills and knowledge to help kids of all ages navigate their neighborhoods as safely as possible. And they do this for FREE. The $25,000 that CFC contributed for the 2021-22 school year helped El Grupo hire, train, and empower new staff at the Manzo Elementary school to better meet the needs of nearly 40 youth riders enrolled in Bike Club.
CFC and Ephibian Bring LEGO™ Joy to John B. Wright Elementary School
Each year, Ephibian and CFC collaborate to make sure 200 elementary school children at the extreme end of the "low-income" spectrum receive their own set of LEGOs.
CFC Awards Grant to Wright Elementary School for Library Improvements
The Community Finance Corporation awarded a $25,000 grant to John B. Wright Elementary School to improve the school’s library. The library improvements include a makeover of the library with new bookshelves, rugs, curtains and bright-colored, kid-sized couches and chairs where students can sit and read.
CFC Awards $39K Grant to UA School Garden Workshop
The Community Finance Corporation awarded a $39,267 grant to the University of Arizona’s School Garden Workshop, which helps Tucson schools develop and manage hands-on gardening instruction.
The grant comes as the Community and School Garden Program is emerging as a national and international leader in the field of K-12 school garden enrichment.
Tucson Nonprofit (Lead Guitar) Expands Music Education Across the Nation
