Acquired by CFC in 2022, the Grand Hyatt consists of 1003 rooms and 115,000 square feet of indoor-outdoor event space and operates as the convention center headquarters hotel.

 

The Grand Hyatt San Antonio consists of the lower 24 floors of a 32-story tower designed by Arquitectonica and is located immediately adjacent to and connected to the 1.6 million square foot City-owned Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center.  The hotel, acquired by Community Finance Corporation in 2022, consists of 1003 rooms and 115,000 square feet of indoor-outdoor event space and operates as the convention center headquarters hotel.

The Grand Hyatt Hotel offers all the services and amenities expected of a full-service hotel serving both corporate and leisure transient guests.  Food and beverage amenities include Ruth’s Chris Steak House, Bar Rojo, and Perks Coffee & More.  Other amenities include a heated rooftop pool with sundeck, a 24-hour fitness center, and a 24-hour business center.

The Convention Center and Hyatt Hotel are located in the heart of historic downtown San Antonio and the complex, located immediately adjacent to the world-famous River Walk, is a key component of the City’s tourism and economic development strategy. The City is leading the redevelopment of the adjacent Hemisphere Park site into a vibrant world-class destination surrounded by a dynamic mixed-use neighborhood. The project will include a proposed 200-room full-service hotel and 1,100-space parking garage, along with multifamily, retail, and restaurant development.
